Our Seasoned Firewood
Freshly felled wood or cut wood can have a moisture content of up to 50%. For wood to be classified as "Seasoned Wood" or "Seasoned Firewood" this moisture value must be reduced by drying wood, split or otherwise to a level that allows for a quality burn. To guarantee high quality split wood, this wood can be dried by several different means. Our firewood is carefully handled, split and stored in a manner that allows us to achieve this goal.
This seasoned wood can be supplied in a number of cut lengths and wood types. Our most popular wood varieties include Pine, Spruce and Birch. Other options include Tamarack and even Poplar. Go ahead and ask what we have on hand though, other varieties may be available at any time.
